Téada

Conducted by Karen Ní Bhroin

Celebrating 25 years in 2026, traditional band Téada have reached Irish and international acclaim in their time together, bringing traditional music to audiences new and old. To mark their quarter-century, they’re joined for a night by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra with stunning orchestral arrangements.

Since 2001, Téada have appeared as a frequent headliner at major music festivals throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa, Russia, the Middle East and Australia, cementing their role as a vibrant ambassador for Irish culture worldwide. Their latest release on Gael Linn features John C. Reilly and the late Séamus Begley. Now, Téada return to the NCH to bring tradition home.

Performing beloved reels like Ríl Liadroma / The Green Cockade / The Mourne Mountains, polkas, jigs, and the March at Kilmore, celebrate 25 years of this vibrant trad group as they join forces with the powerful sound of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

The Traitors at the Proms

By order of the Traitors, you’re invited to a spine-tingling concert hosted by Claudia Winkleman at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Inspired by our favourite murder mystery game’s tense and haunting soundtrack, the concert features melodramatic versions of pop tunes heard on The Traitors, from Britney Spears’s Toxic and Olivia Rodrigo’s Vampire to Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, all given a signature gothic, symphonic twist. There are also dramatic classical favourites, including O Fortuna from Carmina Burana and Lacrimosa from Mozart’s Requiem, plus an exclusive new take on the series’ famous theme tune written by composer Sam Watts.

Conjuring the misty intrigue worthy of a Highlands castle are the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and BBC Singers, as well as special guest vocalists. And Claudia keeps everyone on their toes by asking the packed audience to help find the traitors hidden in their midst. With famous faces from past series, as well as scary characters from the challenges, this is a musical invitation into the world of The Traitors for all fans – whether you’re a Faithful or a Traitor.
